The Teams

The 18 professional UCI ProTour teams receive invites and have to enter. In addition, four professional French teams will join the race. Each team has nine riders in total and at least one team leader that is aiming to win one of the jerseys and the remainder ride as domestiques in support of that rider. The leader will change depending on the team priorities on each stage.
